That's why I originally wanted to include SS in the installer: 1 config, 1 option, less issues
Until cloud700 shows up again, I'll focuse on the other issues. There are still quite a few to be fixed

You will not find your hair with this other riddle, but could it be that this problem is also related to the campaign_script file ?
Possibly.

Found a 'silver surfer' bug on Rebel Skythikon (Skynithon? The 'wild' horse archers that are supposed to be a Byzantine unit) and on Pisan general's bodyguards.

The Cuman heir's son doesn't start off with "Of Cuman Blood".
Shouldn't be the case, hmm:

Aaargh, yes, you're right both!
Thanks Tripledot!
I'm always amazed Gigantus that you watch all the threads and you're able to spot such details! Amazed.

I would have thought you have a 'inheritance' trigger to cover situations like this (ComesOfAge for later game stages and CharacterTurnStart for descr_start omission cases like this):
Code:Condition FatherTrait Royal_Blood_Cumans >= 1 and Trait Royal_Blood_Cumans < 1 Affects Royal_Blood_Cumans 1 Chance 100
Well, I know that the Blood may resurrect in the SSHIP. The code you've provided I'd expect to work at CoA, but I haven't checked - so perhaps you're right. However, I don't how it works with the adoptions - I think there shouldn't be automatic transfer of the bloodline.
Anyway, I find the Bloodlines in the SS(HIP) to be very well thought-out.
I think there's one more issue: the Bloodline resurrection. As I've said - the SS/SSHIP is really well developed and this issue is dealt with. The issue is: when a new guy takes over the throne, he starts a new dynasty. It's coded that his "blood" becomes the royal one (for simplicity, the name of the bloodline is the same as before, it's why the name are so generic like "Polish Blood").
So not only ComesOfAge triggers should be used, but also CharacterTurnStart.
However, I haven't checked ins-and-outs and I don't know if it really works. For the moment, it's what I've found:
;------------------------------------------
Trigger Royal_Blood_Cumans_CharacterComesOfAge_Father
WhenToTest CharacterComesOfAge
Condition FatherTrait Royal_Blood_Cumans > 0
Affects Royal_Blood_Cumans 1 Chance 100
;------------------------------------------
Trigger Royal_Blood_Cumans_FactionHeir
WhenToTest CharacterTurnStart
Condition FatherTrait Royal_Founder > 0
and FactionType cumans
and Trait Royal_Blood_Cumans = 0
and OriginalFactionType cumans
and Trait BiologicalSon > 0
Affects Royal_Blood_Cumans 1 Chance 100
I suppose RoyalFounder takes care of the resurrecting part (probably a conditional trigger check that includes IsFactionLeader together with a negative test for the royal blood trait).
BiologicalSon should take care of adopting exclusions (trait given at ComingOfAge event)
Which means the case by tripledot is a simple matter of descr_strat omission and not a shortfall of the trait\trigger set up.
i am having trouble crashing basically every turn according to the log im guessing it has to do with traits and ancillaries if anyone knows how to fix this help would be appreciated thank you
also ss 6.4 runs fine and i have no other mods installed
Doesn't look like it comes from traits and ancillaries, and even not from the starting positions (that noted at the end of the log - all those heirs) - the game moved on after spotting those cases. Plus I've got these things highlighte in my logs as well. Even the Germanicus5 AI script might not be a problem (starts at 17:54:27.900, while the crash is at 17:54:33.755). So I don't know (but I have very shallow understanding of the log, I admit).
Wow, that's a substantial number of non fatal errors, apparently all SSHIP based (FLNearCapital is not in the original EDCT). Suggest to attend to them asap before they accumulate into something fatal.
The crash happens an eternity after germanicus' script got triggered, no way to narrow it down without a trace log (change entry in mod's CFG file), but I guess it could have to do with a script part. Wild guess without the trace log.
