    Thanks for your feedback. There is indeed a significant number of units that do not have their card. Maybe Nemesis can take care of it ?

    About graphical bugs with castles or rivers, I had an interesting feedback from makanyane

    Hoping to salvage this Poland campaign and finish it before the next version, but it seems to have entered a guaranteed crash during Egypt's turn. Any possible solution or simply a save after the current turn would do wonders.

    I had no occasion that required multiple faction buildings to exist so I can't confirm the error - but I think it's highly probable. Can be tested with monitors that have only one of the conditions. If all three work then I would take that as confirmation that multiple instances don't.

    Mind the logic issue: the historic_event will always fire if the conditions are fulfilled ('factions' only narrows down the display instances) which means that the 'if not I_IsFactionAIControlled georgia' monitor will create an additional counter, eg you end up with two 'enabled (set to 1)' event counters.

    DIdn't we make a fix in january (patch H) for 0.97 for something like this? As the version 0.98 that SpankytheMighty is using is from before, maybe this is the source of crash, and if the fix wasn't applied to 0.98?

    I believe it's not. That issue from H would occured 60 turns later, and was fixed for the January 098 version anyway.

    What happens after the aggressor runs away (TC_FLEE_INVASION) will be the crash reason. Following the characters with lifted FoW may give a clue.

    Thanks for the reminder, forgot to do such a simple thing.

    Seems I did find the culprit! See the 2 pictures included below, for location and unit composition (small numbers) of the crashing army.

    A Captain Renier (Zengids) will sit on the bottom tip of Antioch's province, then a Captain Yahya (Egypt), who is next to Antioch, will go south to attack him. Renier loses and moves south a little onto Egyptian land, then Yahya attacks again. Captain Renier then retreats back into Antioch, leading to the crash. Antioch is also in the midst of a plague, so maybe related?

    I moved Captain Renier (Zengid) into friendly territory, away from the fighting. Egypt was able to finish its turn. Funnily enough, it did take a few more reloads to get past a following Nord crash, then Zengid crash, and finally a Rebels crash. However, it seems turning FoW back on made the 4th try smooth. I was able to finally reach turn 211 and will see if it progresses smoothly enough the next few days.

    Still a mystery to me why Renier retreating into a plagued Antioch was causing a crash.

    Can anyone actually confirm that they got the "(B) One full version" from the installation post to work?

    I have skimmed through this thread and saw a number of people having the same ctd at launch and nobody answered with a fix, or at least I did not see one while scrolling through the posts.

    So I did a clean installation of SS6.4, tested it, worked like a charm.
    Then i copy pasted over the files with the (B) full SSHIP version 98 and when I launch the game, it shows the initial loading screen for a sec and then just goes back to steam and shuts down M2TW.

    This I did after the initial idea of simply just pasting the entire thing without a fresh SS install and trying, which had the same result.
    Yes, I ran the setup twice, even tried early campaign setup and late campaign setup.
    (before copy pasting the sshipfiles ofc)

    Any ideas?

    You don't need any install of the SS6.4. Just unpack and copy to the /mods folder

    @Spanky - Usually the second, consecutive defeat (same turn) results in disbanding of the army unless it is in friendly\own territory if memory recalls. Not 100% sure, though.

    It could also be done: reinstall of M2TW -> put the January version of SSHIP into the mod folder.
    (the SS is already included, it's 12GB unpacked, iirc).
