Shogun 2 Fall of the Samurai Problem

Hi, I downloaded and installed Shogun 2 The Fall of the Samurai, so I open this game. Then, it opens what directx like to launch (9 or 11). First, I press with Directx 9 and it says me an error while opening; then i press Directx 11 and it says the same error too.
I need to fix this problem, but I don't know how.
My Operative system is Windows 8 64 bits.
