No caesar_trait on RS2.1
Hi everybody,
I'm currently playing Rome on RS2.1a and finally reach the 2nd rebellion. My FL gets the "Dictator for life" trait and I manage to re-take most of my cities. But when my FL died, something weird happened: the national announcements' window said that my heir was now FL, but he didn't gain the caesar trait. He is just proconsul and gets the trait disinherited instead.
It also happened on my previous campaign, which I stopped because of that bug.
I dont understand why my heir can't get the caesar trait (without it, there will be endless rebellions I think). I always run the script when I load a save and never had any other bug during my campaigns. I also choose my heir before rebellion start.
Is there something I'm doing wrong ?
Thanks for your help

Re: No caesar_trait on RS2.1
Any reason for playing 2.1?It could be a bug with that version.
I remember that 2.5 had broken 2nd rebellion and that was fixed in the latest 2.6

Re: No caesar_trait on RS2.1
I got the Caesar and Imperial Caesar after the 2nd rebellion started in 2.1.
It takes like good 4 to 5 to activate. You can also use the 4 turn mod
which helps with the Caesar (I got Caesar title faster in 4 turn
rather then 2 turn)

Re: No caesar_trait on RS2.1
It works, took me about 15 turns, didn't think it can be so long, and the disinherited trait confused me. I feel a little bit stupid, I probably stopped my previous campaign 2-3 turns before my FL gains the trait
.
Thanks for your answer Spartan999 !
