Gentlemen,
The AI characters skills, household and traits selection puts them at a distinct disadvantage. What I mean by this is that the AI generals select a mixture of skills that have no direction/cohesion, this means they become a jack of all trades master of none. I discovered this when I started annexing other factions into a confederation. I noticed that their army commanders and naval commanders have selected unnecessary traits. For example an army commander has selected diplomacy bonuses, and a naval commander has selected siege attrition bonuses, while a garrison commander has selected fleet bonuses. Due to this reason their generals do not match your own on the field of battle.
I really appreciate this mod and the effort put into it, and am not trying to ridicule or find fault with it. Just trying to help report anything I discover that seems amiss.
