Do I Download Stainless Steal?

HI guys, I see this is a very popular mod. I have only really played Napoleon and Empire in the past, with a bit of Shogun and I've used Darthmod to enhance my gaming experience for all of these games. I've also started playing with Darthmod on Medieval Total War 2 in a campaign with England and I'm enjoying it, so many different areas that are enhanced such as religion compared to Empire. Would just like to know on opinions as to whether I should give Stainless Steal a try as I've never really ventured away from Darthmod as it's a trusted mod that I feel very comfortable with. Any feedback would be a help, cheers!

For that, you shall be forgiven.

And in answer to your question: yes. Download Stainless Steel. Thus far, I have found it quite challenging, much more so than Vanilla M2TW. Though, I have been a bit... well... naughty... in having to restart my games whenever a new sub mod takes my interest...

I'm guessing that mods like these that are present in the Kingdom Sub Forums apply to the main game campaign also?

Yes, this mod is for the main campaign, it just uses the Kingdoms engine because of the extra features it offers.

There is no loss in trying this mod out, for me it was like that saying "once you go black you'll never go back" xD

And while some people have had problems with the installation and Windows' UAC, specially on a Steam version, I honestly found no problem at all as I had my Steamapps folder outside of "Program Files" folder and UAC off already.

Other mods like Deus lo Vult, Sicillian Vespers, Machiavelli TW, etc that overhaul the entire game like Stainless Steel does, i've found are more complex to install on Steam and incur in "ancient" practises of modifying/adding files outside the mod folder...and they also lack the sleek Submod Manager and .exe mod launcher which can be recognized and used by Steam as mod shortcut.
