For starters, I obviously know what they are. I know what they can do in the game, and have seen it in other games as well.
But after a bit of personal research I also saw that it's stubborn in Medieval 2.
Now, I tried going to settlements, and offering bribes to people (allies and neutrals) and got rejected numerous times, and even after spawning vast amounts of money from cheats, they refuse.
Can someone point out the system to which bribes are used and how I can affect the outcome?
In the mod, I play as the empire. Can I bribe other empire or enemies generals to join me? Say, having a single vampire lord and some of his undead followers join me, that sounds awesome. Or even just having some of the hard-to-get special units by stealing them from my allies, like deaths head or bright wizards.
Or is the system just kind of not allow bribes all together? If so, can someone point me to a mod or something like that, where I can unlock the full potential of recruiting other powers other then my own? (Recruiting other factions nobles and bribing settlements to my faction)
What is required to do so?
