Whats the CAI and BAI like on hard?

just downloading this little beauty now and wanted to know what the AI is like in general. I wont play on very hard as thats all out war so I want alliances and support and I understand there's 3 AI options so ill be choosing the balanced one.

Does the AI recognize the threats on the borders and garrison their armys in the settlements? When theyre attacking on the field do they sit and wait for you? Does the reinforcing army attack you after the first army has been killed off?

Is there any mod I could download for a better AI experience that's compatible with this one?

You need to download germanicus battle ai. Ill post a link later if you cant find it.

Ok thank you I'll have a look at that. I've got slow loading times though and hope its normal. Downloading ss6.3-1.bin and it's at 153 in the last hour. Must be connection or this mod is jam packed with juiciness.
