How Do I Get My American Keyboard Layout To English?
At the moment my keyboard settings has my @ button produce " and vice versa. I believe this is the American way of the keyboard. How do I change this within Windows XP?
Cheers.

Not sure you can, I think that each key sends a different signal or unicode or something like that, not sure though.

can't you just change it under Control Panel > Regional and Language Options? If I remember rightly anyway, there's a way to easily and quickly switch between keyboard in XP. You get a little icon in the taskbar showing you which version of English kb you're using.

I had the same thing. At the bottom right on the Taskbar I have this little thing which says EN. IF I click that I can change between English U.S. and English U.K. No Idea how it got there though.
P.S. @ Shaun... Mon eh Hoops.

Yeah, that's the option I meant too. I also can't remember how to enable it.... ;-/
