Rigging question

What bones do I rig things too. I'm trying to rig an entire character model. But I don't know what all the bones are. I want legs, arms, fingers, body, face, the lot. Its for a whole character model. I just don't know what bones the game uses. My first attempt at guessing the bones didn't really work out I got most of them right but many in the wrong place. The game didn't crash though.

Trial and error is you're best bet I'd say. Keep guessing and write down what you get right, thats how you learn.
