TATW having issues

After having issues using the MOS submod I uninstalled all of TATW and the MOS submod, when I redownloaded it, it downloaded to my medieval II folder in the mods section underneath the kingdom mod. The TATW 2.0 part one and two were downloaded in one folder while called Third_Age_3 while the 3.2 update was put in another folder called Third_age. Now hen I try to open TATW Medieval II is opened instead of Third age, and when I open the medieval 2 nothing happens. I love the TATW mod and I would appreciate it if someone could help me.

There is a bad intallation, you need tatw 3.0 +3.2 (not 2.0). Make a new installation and be sure you install the mod in its proper folder, inside mod one ie tatw has to be in the same folder where kingdom expansions (americas C, britaniaC and so on) should be

Im sorry my bad, I meant 3.0 1 and 2 not 2.0

And the 3.0 is in the mod folder correctly, rather in the same mod folder, the update 3.2 is in a separate folder called Third_age. Should this 3.2 be in the Third_Age_3 folder and if so where in it?

Anyway mod wont work if it is splitted in 2 different folders, there must be only one inside main mod folder

EDIT yep 3.2 inside 3.0. Cut it and paste into 3.0. Must overwrite

I tried putting the mod into the other folder, didn't work. Strangly when I open TATW it shoes me the loading screen from M2TW the a intro screen from TATW then goes back to fully M2TW. When I try to click on multiple things in the game it will ask me to please select a item from the list.

1) What Windows do you have?

2) Is your M2TW a Steam or non Steam version ( retail dvd, etc.. ) ?

3) Can you tell us the exact names of the TATW Installers you are using to install TATW, and , do you get any error message during the installation?

windows 8, non steam, and im downloading them from gamefront 3.0 main, 3.1 update, and 3.2 update from there.

Lets hope you didn`t mess up your M2TW/Kingdoms installation.. Can you start M2TW and Kingdoms campaign and check do they work properly? If they work, then:

1) Delete/remove any Third Age TW ( TATW ) files from your M2TW/ mods folder ( and, if you had put any TATW files/folders inside of your main M2TW folder, then, delete it from there aswell, even though, they should not interfere with your vanilla M2TW game).

2) Use these steps to install TATW 3.2 http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...1#post13675060 ( TATW 3.0 part 1 and part 2 + TATW 3.2 Patch............... TATW 3.1 Patch is not needed ).

All of the kingdoms campaigns work but the M2 wont open except for when I click on TATW and when it does run half of the options don't work.

If your M2TW does not work, then you need to reinstall it before installing TATW..

If I were you, I would uninstall it completely, and, reinstall it anywhere else, just not in your Program Files or Program Files(x86) folder. This way you will avoid potential issues with a Windows feature called User Account Control.
