    Default Teleporting armies

Is there any way to stop armies from teleporting? It's practically impossible to plan out strategies against the Storm of Chaos armies because of the teleporting & so the game simply turns into a boring series of 'fair' battles on open terrain.

I've tried using Baal's kickstart mod but it makes the game CTD practically every turn. Please help.

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...-of-Warsandbox Is an option too.

I think in the early version of RoDG the scripted armies actually walked from place to place, but if my memory serves me right, messing with them caused the whole scripts and even save-games to broke. So removing them is only viable option if you don't like them I think, and that sub-mod should do it.

    Thanks for the reply.

I had downloaded the Sandbox version once but didn't use it as campaign_script was blank. I will use it & see whether it works.

Edit:- I'm posting this as it may be useful to others. I tried the Sandbox campaign & didn't like it too much. So, I went back to Baal's mod. While I couldn't figure out what was causing the CTDs, I found that the part relevant to the teleporting problem ran without problems.

Find the section detailing invasions (there will be a lot of grimgor1, grimgor2 etc variables). Paste that part into your campaign_script & the armies will stop teleporting. The game becomes a bit easy with this; Grimgor's 6-8 armies were killed by Border Princes, Dwarfs & only one of my armies. So, you might want to add more money or armies to Chaos & Orcs.
