    Default Best software for video capture and editing?

    I want to make video promos for my mods. What is the best software for capturing footage and for editing it? Simplicity of use and affordability are my number one priorities. If you know of any good video or written tutorials then I would love if you shared!

    I know little about this. We use Jing and Camtasia in class.
