    Default Ways of reducing the anti-human hate level in a multiplayer campaign?

    Is there any simply way of reducing the anti-human hate levels for a multi-player co-op campaign?

    I'm trying to play this game with my son and we've tried several attempts at getting an enjoyable strategic game started. But so far, within a few turns every AI clan discovered develops an anti-human attitude and declares war of one or both of us. So, within a few hours of play every man and his dog is sending huge armies into our lands and the whole thing just degenerates into a series of attrition battles, that are basically boring.

    Try the UAI mod which improves the campaign AI.
    The main culprit is most likely one of the tables dealing with CAI behaviour. I've seen three entries that convince AI clans to especially target the player as rival. Setting these values to 0 should fix this ridiculous behaviour.

    Thanks but will mods work for a multi-player co-op campaign, or will they cause the game to crash due to incompatibility?

    I've never played any multiplayer games at all, so I hope somebody else can comment on this. Is it possible to play modded MP campaigns?

    they'll work with a multiplayer campaign. Just make sure that both of you have the same mods enabled. Some mods will cause more crashes and some don't. You'll have to try it and see.

    Are you using any diplomacy?
    Making allies, trade agreements etc?

    In my opinion you don't need mods to reduce the hate.. Just play smart with the alliances and thinking ahead about the strengths of certain clans.. hopefully that made sense
