Missing DeI in RIITW laucher

Hi,

Today I run a RIITW launcher with subscribed DeI mod. All Ok but after few seconds DeI mod disappeared from launcher. I tried to restart a computer, after that unsubscribed and again made subscribe but nothing, still without mod in lancher.

Any help???

Try standalone.

If you really want to keep the Steam version, make sure you check the 'enable out-of-date mods' for DeI, might be the source of your issue... Although I must say the standalone version is far superior.

Having the same issue, non of my mods are appearing in the launcher. Any ideas?

Exactly the same as MA5C: my standalone mods (installed without the workshop) shows and are activated, but what I subscribe through the workshop doesnt show and isnt activated (tested) and when I asked a friend to upload to me the .pack with the shortcut image of said mods, I pasted them in the data folder and...... whenever I start the launcher, they are erased.

I've reinstalled steam: no positive result (I had a gameoverlay.exe bug where my antivir picks it up as a trojan.... still do after the reinstall)
I'm resintalling Rome 2: when its over I'll report back.

Reinstalling steam/R2 = doesnt help.

I dont know whats the origin of this bug (the link of MARC TRUTH can help) but it looks like the launcher itself is killing the mods we subscribe to.
There may be individual/global work-around. I'll try some things in the evening.

This has been going on for all Workshop mods for the past 3 days. CA confirmed it was an issue with the latest Steam client update and launcher.exe deletes any mods you subscribe to instantly. They've been working on it but no ETA on a fix. You can still manually download any mod and use Mitch's Mod Manager though and that will work.

You were right Takarazuka, its the only way I found to play! I used Mitch's modmanager.exe and it worked real nice

as long as you manage to find the mods in standalone version or that someone else can upload them to you (& you must rename them so that the R2 launcher doesnt erase them), those that have the bug should be able to play with mods.
