I am playing Takeda on Hard difficulty. Just wonder how safe it is to convert to Christianity. I now control 30 some provinces, but all western daimyos have converted to Christianity and it quickly spreads to my territory. Also, have nanban port can unlock some benefits, especially firearms and navy. But my main concern is some of my provinces (4) have shinto shrines. Should I research a bit into population control tree of the chi side before going for conversion. Or simply tear down all buddism buildings and let Christian spread? Also, once I convert, what would happen to my existing monk agents? Would they simply disappear?
