Yo people, mistefu here
in the last 2 months, I tried to think of a nice mod for M2TW. Well, got one. This is what it includes:
A huge map, which includes Europe, Asia, Afrika and the Americas.
A far larger scaled map (Which means even The Netherlands may have 3-4 cities and castles)
More factions. I sought for empires around the year 1250, and I found quite some. Here are some examples:
Europ:
Kingdom of Albania (Albania)
Principality of Achaea (Greece)
Bosporan Kingdom (Southern Ukraine)
Ireland (Guess where...)
The Lion of Flanders (Belgium)
etc
New units. I also thought of some more units, like:
city militia (Grabbed anything they could find, low morale and not very usefull. Still better than peasants)
Maceman (The avarage infantry, better used to kill armoured units)
etc

Of course, I want other people to join me. people that also want to create something special like that. Here are some duties that need to be done:
Historical: I did all that work, still gonna look for some more info though, so some help might be needed. We also need more cities/Castles for the map
Artist: Bigger map, so the whole world has to be edited. We also need someone to make character models for campaign and battle
Componist: someone knows a good tune? and knows knows how to install those on a mod? You're hired!
Installer: I may have many ideas, but installing is my weakness. I need someone (Or more people) to make sure everything can be putted in a mod>
Anything else that I forgot to mention? say it, and mayby I need you for it.

This is a very big job, so I want to focus on Europe/North Afrika/East Asia first, like the regular map (But bigger)

Haha in 1250 there is golden horde,kingdom of hungary,latin empire mamluk sultanate.

Also you might want to actually do some looking into the "hard-coded" limits of the game in terms of map size, number of factions, number of regions your not the first person to have a grander view of what can be done to be disappointed by the realistic limits.! factions= 31, regions=199, map size 510x510
get your hands on a copy of the docudemons all that info is there~ and what`s this prejudice about it having to be affiliated with "SS" there re a plethora of mods out there which equal it`s quality
