Russian scientists developed the so-called «antidote» based on a 1959 scientific research published under the title “Organizing action of prenatally administered testosterone propionate on the tissues mediating mating behavior in the female guinea pig” by Charles H. Phoenix, an american researcher. The study concluded that ”INAH [part of the hypothalamus] is dimorphic with sexual orientation, at least in men, and suggests that sexual orientation has a biological substrate”.

«Xenoestrogen are a type of estrogen mimickers found in synthetic or natural chemical compounds. Synthetic xenoestrogens such as PCB’s, BPA and phthalates have been also been found to have estrogenic effects on living organisms and to disrupt the endocrine system» explains Dr. Yuri Krutchev, who took part in the experiment. «Injecting specific quantities of testosterone helps to unset this artificial biological unbalance which occurs mostly in part because of environmental pollution and an excess of estrogen mimickers in our modern environment» he adds.

The new discovery has attracted much criticism from lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) organizations around the Globe, yet a few country leaders have outspokenly showed support and interest for the research. Iran, China and Saudi Arabia have been the first countries to show interest in the new discovery.

American and European researchers have expressed much skepticism upon receiving the news.

Is this real? and how ethical would it be to offer this cure in countries?

Testosterone treatment was tried in the fifties and sixties in America, the result is to make homosexuals even more sexually voracious to the point where they can have sex with either gender but still prefer men and makes them statistically more likely to commit rape, it was dropped for obvious reasons. It wasn't a good idea then and it isn't a good idea now, it simply seems that people have chosen to forget.

Testosterone treatment is still controversial in older patients, but it seems to have a positive effect on firmer skin tone, the cardiovascular system, as well as libido. Of course it can make women grow more hair and in unwanted places. It's frequently applied on female sex organs prior to lovemaking as a fairly inexpensive form of female Viagra.

No idea if it does anything for homosexuals in reality. I'd say that in general that it would be more intelligent to see sexual expression in terms of appetite as well as sexual identity and masculinity/femininity and in choice of sexual partners as a long series of several continuums and NOT as a binary choice. Many homosexuals used to get married and have families prior to say 1980 or so. Some stayed closeted and either didn't act upon it in adulthood, or had affairs. Times have really changed.

I seriously doubt there ever would be a cure of homosexuality. If you think that's possible outside of chemical castration, then I wonder if you think there's a cure for heterosexuality as well? It's probably partially genetic and partially a function of experiences and opportunity as well. At least some sexual identity happens early on under age three with emulation of parents to get the attention of our parents as there is some early sexual attraction. Typically this is daughters emulating their mothers in order to get their father's attention or boys emulating their fathers to get their mother's attention. Despite what the ardent homosexual activists claim it probably is not 100% genetic, nor is the rabid fundamentalist correct that it's a form of aberrant mental behavior. As it's common in the mammal world, then there probably is some biological basis for it as well as in early development, and in developing self-image psychologically.

In women, testosterone is produced in the adrenal glands (on top of the kidneys) and if either low levels or high levels are produced, then this can lead to alterations in development. Usually if underdeveloped slightly it means diminished sexual desire even as a young woman. Excessive levels can lead to hirsuitism as well as an overdeveloped clitoris (androgen excess or congenital adrenal hyperplasia). You might have noticed this before if you've had numerous sexual partners. They of course tend to have a lot more sexual desire.

In either case, that doesn't lead to them being more feminine or less feminine or in homosexuality or heterosexuality. It merely alters how much sexual desire they MIGHT have. Female sexuality is far more complex and based upon feelings of security and being perceived as taken care of. If women feel secure and cared for in abundance AND have higher levels of testosterone, then they'll have more sexual desire, or at least that's the theory. Of course it's a combination of several hormones in their instance (estrogen and progesterone) and so that's why at a certain point in their cycle, about 5-7 days past their last period when their desire is higher than normal.

Simply adding more testosterone won't be a panacea as if homosexuality is a disease state, a rather crude and unscientific idea.

Long ago, male bodybuilders used to get "roid rage" when taking excessive anabolic steroids. The excessive testosterone leads to atrophy of the testicles, enlargement of the jaw and forehead, it's certainly not a safe way to get more muscular nor to alter one's sexual desire when under the age of 21. I doubt most people would have any effect post-21 except for increased sexual desire. At a certain point, literally anyone might look attractive to a person on excessive testosterone.

In theory, genetic premises which result in viewing the same sex attractive could be detected by genetic profiling of embryos and by discovery the affected embryos could be prevented from growing out. However i doubt that this would mean a definitive elimination of homosexuality. I still think that environmental influences (moral, persons, culture, laws....) have a much greater role in the shaping of our sexual life than genes and hormones.

While anyone following genetics on this knows the womb does have an effect on the potential for homosexuality of the offspring, from what I gather from the above quote this would be given prenatally. Now perhaps this might prevent homosexuality but what would its effect be beyond that, and on those fetuses who were not developing in such a manner to become homosexuals?

Now given post sexual maturity, as himster said, all more testosterone did was make gay men want more gay sex.
