Some say that the U.S. lead wars throughout the world in order to put military bases in that countries,Yugoslavia,Iraq and some Arab countries etc,apparently the ukraine is your next goal.It may be an exaggeration of me,but more than 700 bases in almost all world countries is a bit to much.

When a nation like US speaks of the imperialism of other nations,their credibility is reduced to nothing,is that altruism has limits.As the hypocrisy.

Germany asked them for they're gold back IIRC, and the U.S fed declined... That should tell you something right there. America's economy turns over because of it's military industrial complex, so in order to push it's agenda. It uses it's military muscle to intimidate countries into giving them military bases. The thing is, that America is an old concept, they're pretty much broke, and the world is rapidly getting to the point where they have had enough of them. What will they do if Germany politely asks them to leave, you may just find out in the near future...

Really the US is broke? Ever ticked all the things the US government owns or chooses not to sell or use? I mean hell they own my wife. A senior research position in USDA is nice and costs the government a lot, but she is for the next 3 years as much government property as any soldier - sent where they say, do what they say - period. She could quit but I really doubt she would ever work in her field again aside from whatever federal prosecution would follow.

So apparently the US still sends a check of $4,085 to the Cuban Government each year per the lease agreement, but the Cubans haven't cashed one in 50 years.

I see it as 761 nukes. Most of the bases probably have a lot more so i would estimate the US could launch at least 5000 nukes at russia if it wanted to ;p.

That's weird, I don't see our government running the areas where we have bases. In fact, it seems almost that... *gasp* WE PAY TO HAVE OUR BASES THERE.

That's not imperialism, that's geopolitics. If I'm nation A and I want to screw around with Nation B, I'd probably be less likely to do so if I might be pissing off the Americans who just so happen to have a military presence there.

Come screaming Imperialism when we start occupying, taking out the governments, and annexing territory.
