    Default Weird CTD

    Hi guys

    so I'm having a lot of trouble with the mod. This is around my 10th campaign attempt, having all the previous ended in game breaking bugs. This time, something screws up the game at this AI turn. It seemed like it was happening at Lithuania's turn, so I removed them from the game. Then it happened with Norway, and removed them too. Then the game managed to go through all AI turns, only to crash at the beginning of my turn (something I've never seem).

    Now, I would try to remove myself from the game too, but it probably isn't such a good idea, I reckon...

    If it helps, its on the 1151 turn. The other campaigns ended up because of similar problems, but the turn never seem to matter. Most of the times it was because of priests inside ships, so I have to move ships to sink their ships and hope for the best. But this time it's not that...

    Anyway, this is gonna be my final SS campaign if I don't find a way to get by these bugs. I love the game, but come on! I can't stand playing a game for 10 hours only to start again from scratch, just when things get interesting... Specially when this keeps happening to me...

    Thanks

    set trace log in default.cfg
    Code:
    #level=* error
    level=* trace
    then run the game with a save of at least a turn before the crash, wait till it crashes again and then share the produced log via post attachment here (preferrably after compressing it with either winrar or 7zip)

    Meanwhile I tried starting another campaign. When it happens I'll make sure to share the log.

    It's version 6.4

    If its Turn 51, then it looks like some part of your install, thinks its 6.3. Are you using WIN7 or 8?

    Windows XP. And the folder does say 6.3, although I applied the 6.4 patch.

    Anyway, my current campaign goes well, apart from an extremely odd thing. Half of the factions disappeared during the campaign for no reason, just if I had used the surrender_regions command. I thought they could have ran out of family members, but this happened to a at least eight factions... Two of them in the same turn, twice. And some of those factions had around six or seven settlements...

    This never happened to me before. One or two factions, sure, it can happen. But so many so fast?
