Bravo Bubba777!! Now I can return to DeI... Much appreciated and thanks. This really should become a core mod for DeI.

very nice work but phalanx and Romans are too OP and skirmishers accuracy even at close range is very bad but keep up the good work
Yea Roman core units are really OP, their morale is almost unbreakable. Slingers have a deadly aim and make archers unuseful: sling make more kills both against heavy and light infantry, i think they should be more effective, after prolungued engaging, against heavy infantry. I will also take a look to diplomacy because with big factions, such as seleucids, the campaign is really easy (for example parthia decleare war to my satrapy, and the turn after they asked me peace offering to become a satrapy without fighting any battle).
Hope this can help in your development, I really like your submod, keep it up good work!
Wow. This is good, I think, the Iberians are kicking my ass even when I out number them, but I have only just begun to understand the tweaks made to fatigue - lost 3 cav units for my efforts!
After a couple of days playing, it definatly has a far more strategic feel to it, but ranged units feel far too powerful as it stands!

Is it meant for cavalry to get exhausted just by moving them behind the enemy lines before charging in or even kite, just straight line even while defending so the distance is short?
I like the mod and appreciate your work bubba777, though it still falls short of realism. Here are some things I think need changing:
- Reduce the effect of routing units on allies
- Double the fatigue thresholds and substantially reduce fatigue regeneration
- Nerf missile damage, the current level doesn't fit within the realistic casualty rate model
- Reduce casualty rates further without making battles longer. Currently it sits at around 12% winner and 40% loser, for complete realism it should be on average 5% winner and 20% loser. The main loses for the losing side is desertions, not casualties, so this needs to increase in response to lower casualties.
-Other parameters would also need further adjusting to match the lower casualties, recruitment and upkeep cost increase, unit regeneration nerf, reduced disease and sabotage effect, etc.
-My biggest problem is the casualty rate for routing units. It is supposed skyrocket compared to in matched battle, but not to its current extent, it needs to be reduced drastically. Doing this will help the casualty rates fall in line better.
Just reinstalled Rome 2 to try out the emperor patch, haven't played yet but currently installing DeI + this submod, I'm eager to try it out and see if it still resembles my old mod that formed its basis![]()
Aeimnestus was a Spartan, famous because he killed the Persian General Mardonius at the battle of Plataea.
hi people...I hav'nt given up on ABR.i had to rebuild the land unit table and main unit table because of emperor patch,it was one problem after another so rebuild was best.will release update soon![]()
Why do CAV units get fatigued faster than normal legionnaire units?
Otherwise Fantastic mod, but this is really bugging me.
Improve Fatigue for all CAV units pls.
Sorry for triple Posting, but in the meantime can you release a version of this mod with default DEI moral, and only combat changes.thank you.

because every unit has a stamina rating
Noticed no one has posted in a while, so I thought I'd post to say that I'm having a blast with your mod in my current Iceni campaign. It's become the only way I play Rome 2 now. Anyway, keep up the great work. Also, I've never worked on a Rome 2 mod, but if there's a simple but time consuming element to updating the mod, I'd be happy and able to help.
Hello bubba, hope you are well and keeping up the work, I noticed that with the patch 16.1 the game frezee on main loading screen with your mod.
Cheers
Is this mod dead? It'd really be a shame, I haven't played rome since this became outdated.Maybe BuBBa is just waiting for DEI 1.0, which I would not blame him. It must be time consuming having to update the mod for every little patch.
I haven't had the time to sit down with the new DeI release yet. How close is it to Bubba's revision?
