    Ancient Battle Realism submod bubba777 revamp
    work i have done so far:
    -fixed missing weapon and units with the wrong weapons and invisible weapons
    -reworked unit tables
    -reworked moral tables(most units have slightly more moral but increased moral peniltys)
    -overall kill rate slight increase(is noticable)
    -pikemen have one move speed and rebalanced (lower weapon damage but slightly better melee defence and slight increased rank depth)
    -all pikemen and spear unit vs cav and elephant increase
    -pikemen upkeep increased 20% because of the defence vs infantry and cav effectiveness
    -cavalry upkeep increase 20% because of there effectiveness in charge shock
    -slight reduction in all missle accuracy
    -reduced missle accuracy in fog and rain
    -increase of fatigue effects and lowered fatigue threshold but increased recharge for fatigue
    -increase in terrain move speed effects
    -increased land unit charge speeds(no more matrix style charges)
    -siege equipment move speed reduced
    DEI 85e update:
    -removed forced march bug
    -reduced infantry projectile range
    -reduced under small arms fire moved speed
    -increased under artillery fire move speed
    -reduced artillery move speed
    -reduced siege equipment move speed
    -increased artillery projectile building damage
    -reduced archery towers damage and reload speed
    -reduced and reworked cavalry and mounted move speeds(no more turbo horses)
    -greatly reduced spear vs large bonuses
    -reworked and lowered values for shields and amour
    -increased recruitment and upkeep across the whole game
    -increase moral penalties for fatigue effects(lower tier units can retreat if exhausted and taken a few casualties)
    -slight increase in terrain height combat bonus

    I would recommend playing on campaign H and battle H
    if anyone thinks there should be changes or if there are any bugs or problems then let me know

    DEI 0.9e update:
    no tweaks or anything,just updated to DEI 0.9e for the moment.enjoy.

    DEI 0.9f Revised#1 update:
    -tiny increase in projectile damage
    -increased and balanced move speeds for the more heavy class cavalry
    this revised version of 0.9e is save compatible

    DEI 0.9g update:
    -slight increase in missile unit reload speed
    -removed first strike bonus (weapon deadlieness) for time being to test removal of bonuses
    not sure if its save compatible

    DEI 0.9h update:
    -Updated to 0.9h
    -Added Matched Combat Be gone (thanks to Archimonday) for giving me the ok to use his table.will be adding back charge animations like shield pushing ect
    -greatly reduced replenishment rates for land units


    DEI 0.95d update:
    -Updated to 0.95d
    -Slight increase of Pike and Cav costs for new units so far(still need to work on new units balancing in more detail)
    -Very small increase in all units run speeds

    was going to hold out until I got everything done with new units but I promised update for weekend.balancing of new units seem ok for the moment


    DEI 0.95h update:
    -made some changes to moral,greater penalties for death or retreat of a general,greater penalties for exposed or attacked flanks,have increased moral bonus for generals presence and secured flanks and increased moral penalties for exhaustion ect ect
    -made some small changes to fatigue like slightly increased penalties for running and charging
    -still playing with raw recruits style of increased moral for ranking up units but not included in mod yet
    -added back charge animation (shield pushing and sword lunging on the charge) doesn't seem to course units scattering
    -fixed more new unit values to match my amour,shield and weapon tables

    DEI 0.96b update:
    -now works with DEI 96b and Augustus Campaign
    -had to start rebuilding all unit tables and main unit tables to fix bugs making battles crash,moral and costs and upkeep need reworking but the mod is working now and thats good enough for the moment

    Increased penalties are more of a problem for lower tier units which requires more battle planning so keep those flanks secured and keep your general safe
    If anyone thinks I have over done something or if there are any problems then let my know.
    PS.if your having a problem with this sub mod then let me know what it is and not just say "it doesn't work" and be specific.

    Hello everyone,
    Now that is heavy cav speed is alot slower you can't charge with them and it makes them useless compared to horse archers their charge is better and same thing for light cavalry.

    hi shadowtwinz....i am currently working on improving the consistancys with cav units move speeds and missle unit firing range

    Yea I see, I seem to find that slingers are okay played as Armenia and most of kills were made by Slinger their ammuntion and fire rate is ok. with full ammo Aprox 170kills. Their early units are too weak most of them spearmen. Either with this mod phalanx are unchargeable and beats everyone .

    i have been working on slowing down cav move speeds and charge speeds mostly for light cav and reducing under small arms fire move speed and increasing under art fire move speeds and reducing missle ranges.its smoothing out the game play feel

    im trying to find a way to balance out pikes a bit more but pikes are walking tanks with 18 foot spears,would you charge them ? thats why im increasing upkeep for them

    just place it into your rome 2 data folder with all of your other mods and all will be well
    make sure to use the TWC mod manager,the CA version does'nt seem to like it.

    I am having an issue with Pikemen Phalanx. Enemies walk right through the formation at will. Has no holding power like in DeI. Not sure if it is intended or a bug. Can't push with Pike units because of this.

    not quit yet,gonna done some more increases to upkeep and recruitment costs,a full stack army is something to work towards not just pumping out troops to slaughter,the amour and shield values felt a little nurfed to me and another forum member so i have reworked them lower,i tested with some teir 1 and 2 hoplites and i managed to make them retreat because of exhaustion and losing 15-20 men a unit,but they did'nt retreat suddenly.there moral slowly lowered as they lost men and become more exhausted
