Hey guys,
I was wondering, is there any way to get the european empires to call a crusade on you? I'm playing as the fatimids (6.4, late era campaign, H/H), and one of the most satisfying things is to conquer the crusader states, kill off the turks, fight off the mongolians (FIELD BATTLES ONLY, no WAITING IN CASTLES LIKE A COWARD), and more importantly, CRUSH ALL THE CRUSADING ARMIES MARCHING INTO YOUR LANDS!!!
The first time they called a crusade on cairo (they just won't call on jerusalem for some reason), I absolutely destroyed every single crusading army that entered my lands. It's fun to pretend your saladin fighting off huge heavily armored infidel armies, who are powerful and could tear apart your infantry if not for the fact that they are exhausted from their long journey, thirsty, and dying of heat exhaustion just like in battle of hattin (like that scene in the movie Kingdom of Heaven). Using mamelukes and desert cavalry to pick apart all of their knights and then charging into their infantry that are engaged in the center (and routing them quickly) is just awesome fun. And then seeing the message that the crusade failed is extremely satisfying.
Only problem is, they don't call crusade on me now. They would rather fight each other and call crusade on France. I have abysmal relations with basically every European country (from killing off countless kings and princes no doubt) and at war with all of them, but they still won't call crusade on me.
How do I get them to do so? Any cheats, or anything else I can do to "get" them to call another crusade on me? I've went as far as teleporting my 10 subterfuge assassin to rome just to kill off their pope the turn right before they called crusade on France, just so France would no longer be excommunicated and so I would be the only likely target. But after I did that, they just did not call crusade on anyone. What gives?

Some other random question.
How do I get mongolians to become relevant again? They presented a really fun challenge, but now that I killed off all of their armies, they don't rebuild. I know it has something to do with them being bankrupt, but I don't know ho much money to add them without making them super duper rich. I just want them to be at 0, so that they can rebuild like a normal empire (they are still huge with a lot of territories) and still present a challenge. As of now, K-shah (who manged to survive on one province) is slowly taking over their land, which is kinda cool I guess, as if given long enough time, maybe they can become powerful again and be my next new enemy. But I don't think they will rebuild fast enough for my patience
Also, is there some AI script or something that can keep their armies (their stacks) more close together? I absolutely love those epic 3 stacks vs 3 stacks battles, but they are so rare because the AI separates their armies (the last time I had such an epic battle was vs the Mongolians, tho I admit that was more like 5v3 stacks for it to be fair!). If I besiege their castles/cities with 3 stacks, then sometimes they would attack me with 3 stacks in return, but in that case, they may attack with a general and attack via night battles, isolating my general from my other captain led stacks (I know this can be countered by having a 4-5 star general leading each of my 3 stacks, but I don't like having generals on AI reinforcements, because even tho the battle AI is better, it is still bad at keeping generals alive)
Same problem with crusading armies... they usually come one stack at a time, and so they are too easy to defeat sometimes. Tho the best challenge comes when 2 crusading armies from allied countries attack you (that's when I pruposely leave the first stack alone until they are right next to the 2nd stack, which I then attack and have myself an epic 2 v 2 crusader stack battle!). But that doesn't happen nearly often enough.
I really like epic battles, so I'm thinking maybe I ought to try that submod that increases unit count, that way just 2 v 2 stack battles (which are more common) can feel just as epic as 3v3 stack battles. But I don't think that submod increases unit count by much does it? As I've heard the engine has a limit to how many men can be in one unit.
Anyways, thanks for reading this long post, and thanks in advance if anyone has solutions to my questions!![]()
