No mods work

I install them in the right folder. And I go start kingdoms, using launcher replacement 1.2. Im running the latest patch also. It works on all default mods like Americas or normal Medieval, but when I click stainless steel or kingdoms grand campaign it starts then closes and shows this-

Assuming Vista, Win 7/8/8.1, have you disabled the UAC yet?
Steam version of the game?

Doesnt help. The problem I think is this- I tried to play mods and it didnt work so I re installed fresh and I noticed in the mods menu kingdoms grand campaign and stainless steel are still there even though they are totally gone from my computer. I think it tries to run that but theres nothing to run so crashes. What do you think?
