    I'm assuming you mean MTW2, and really its like 6 years old and still one of the best games around because of the complexity of combining grand strategy with RT large scale battles.

    It doesn't sound you ever experienced Age of Empires, another epic for its time, MTW, just like other entrepreneurs made a great idea even better. And mods allow for endless variety...crap, I think not.
