Ok so... I have this question/issue

I can run this game with all options maxed out on DX 11, but NOT when I'd be playing FULL STACK battles.

So, I said I'll just switch from DX 11 to DX 9 in the options menu (since I don't see that much of a big difference) and here comes my problem:

When switching to DX 9 some of the (important) graphics options like draw distance, are greyed out and cannot be changed...

Draw distance is particularly important for me because with DX 9 it's set to medium or so, and I can't see much of the battlefield.

Is this a singular case or does it happen to you as well ? And is it possible to somehow edit the preferences file and perhaps override the options but keep DX 9 ?
