Why is Hannibal's helmet so low-res?

Kind of hard to see in this picture, it's really low res though and looks nothing like the cutscenes or the HATG Hannibal. I tried putting the Hannibal helmet that I found in man/helmets/ on a Carthaginian general and get this. If you look at the helmet in the variant editor you can also see how it looks.

Is that helmet on the Hannibal model in the game? My guess is that it is only for the campaign map which would explain why it looks bad.

There is only one Hannibal model I can find, and it's 'hannibal_cine_ingame' which has no helmet. The only Hannibal helmet there is that I can see is the crappy one.

So that would mean that the helmet is not intended for the battlefield so there is no reason they'd make it High Res. It's really only a Chalcidan with a spartan plume anyway (you could probably make that yourself).

Okay I was confused, the screenshots for the DLC have him wearing the helmet but it looks good. I don't own it so I didn't know what helmet he wears.

Could someone provide a screenshot of how he looks on the battlefield?
