    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One way to increase loyalty is to the generals to do things, like attacking rebels, build buildings in settlements etc.
also influence the attributes of the faction leader, a leader with high authority and "chivalry" decreases the chances that general become unfair
And finally, I think your faction's reputation also plays some role but not sure.

Also, don't take every "Candidate for adoption" option, because they might lower your other generals loyalty. And same goes for marriage proposals, and for "suitable prince" things.

thanks for the answers, i realized too, sometimes the lotalty of some generals come to zero when i conquest a city, the messages say the general "dissobey orders" and other generals see a opprtunity to rebel.

My generals are picking up a lot of traits similar to "unsupervised" or "leader pays no attention" which I assume is due to the fact my faction leader has been campaigning in the field. Do I need to move him back to the capital city or tour him around my cities/castles?

I also have a question. In my recent campaign with Scotland my king got "offends the nobility" trait. Does anybody know how this happened. By the way, it disappeared the next round

The loyalty problems are likely caused by activating BGR IV in the SS setup. Under BGR IV, the faction leader may sometimes issue general orders. They can be found in his traits. If a general breaks these orders, this may spark rebellion. The general in question will be punished (the punishment appearing in his traits), and if he obliges, order will be restored and loyalties will go back to normal. If not, some generals will become illoyal to the "weak" faction leader. In the worst case this may cause a civil war (which I personally have never experienced and therefore cannot comment upon).

The most common situation is the faction leader being very chivalrous and issuing the order that prisoners may not be killed. If this happens and a settlement is plundered, the trouble starts...

If you would read the instructions for BGR IV, you would know all this by the way...

i realized traits similar to "unsupervised" or "leader pays no attention", can be prevented bringing the general as young as possible to spend a couple of turns with the faction leader, they wins the trait "has the king's eye"

when the general is banished he must stay in foreign territory, or they get the trait of defied orders

even if my leader is chivalrious y and my general NOY plunder a city Conquered the trait of defied orders appears too

I read in the window of some generals "order:banished", this leaves the loyalty to zero too...what things makes a general banished?, maybe has to be with the wealth of the general?

in what things influences the richness of the general?

he leido en ventanas de algunos que general que son "desterrados", lo que baja su lealtad de cero tambien, tiene que ver con la riqueza del general, en que influye la riqueza del general?

    greetings.

You are dealing with two different loyalty problems. "Has the king's eye" or "Leader pays no attention" are traits from the basic SS mod. They only have a small effect on loyalty.

"Banished" on the other hand causes a huge loyalty drop, your general becomes practically worthless. I am quite sure this happened because he defied orders. The problem is these orders are not always easy to keep track of. You should check in your leader's traits at the beginning of every turn what orders are in effect. Try not to break them.

Or, if you want to make things easier for yourself, run the SS setup and disable BGR IV. If you want to learn more about BGR-related loyalty effects, read the BGR manuals provided in the sub-mod forum under BGR.

You know you have BGR installed right? Might get a faster answer if you posted in the BGR thread.
