Does the AI take autoresolve odds into account when planning their attacks?
Just curious.
Trying to figure out some way to stop the amphibious assault spam, and thinking a modifier to the autoresolve for minor settlement/settlement digressive/generic/defensive (in campaign_autoresolver_situation_mod_groups) might do it.
Assuming it takes the odds into consideration.
Edit 1:
Well, crud.
It looks like the autoresolver situation mod group "minor_settlement_*stance*_naval" is not recognized as a port assault.
Edit 2:
So, a bit of testing has shown that when doing a port assault, using land units in transports, against minor port settlements at the least...
The autoresolver uses the "minor_settlement_*stance*_land" modifiers - NOT "minor_settlement_*stance*_naval"
... which just might go some ways towards explaining the retardation.
Mods, feel free to delete the other two posts.
Final edit:
Autoresolver only considers it a port assault if the attack is led by ships, not transports.
