Chaos trolls and ogres (sorry if dumb question)

I recently just got back into this mod (was looking for a side game and remembered this). I love the warhammer lore and i love total war games, but im just wondering 1 thing. Im playing as the Chaos (Tzeentch) and one turn i realized i had available for recruitment Chaos Ogres and Chaos Trolls. I check back a few turns later and they are gone. Just wondering what makes these recruitable or did i just get a bug for a few turns. If any info is needed just ask. Sorry for the bother and thanks for the help. Also if there is a post im sorry. I did look but couldn't find one. I searched a few pages on the Q and A, but i dont really want to go through 100+ pages.

You recruit these "seasonally" at mercenary camps. It is a little random, so you have to sometimes pick them up even if you don't know if you need them. Keeps you on your toes

o ok. Ya i was bored and checking out other factions. Just tried dark elder. Cant recruit during winter seems brutal. Thanks

Last thing though. Is there any reason my diplomat wont work (he wont interact with anyone. Anytime i try there are just X (no)).

Evil factions can't interact with good factions

In the submods section of this forum (there are many submods), there is a Call of Warsandbox that actually removes this (I think...). Be sure to read carefully the instructions of each submod and if they're compatible with 1.5.1 and/or other submods! Good luck!
