So, it is time for Eurovision 2014...

Well another year have passed and I am sure that by now they have had time to carry all the equipment the 33 km that separate Malmö Arena from B&W Hallerna in Copenhagen where Eurovision will take place this year.

I will be watching Priscilla Queen of the Dessert instead of Eurovision but it is always fun to see what different countries have come up with for Eurovision so it is time for a thread .

My prediction is that this years "big bone of contention" will be Conchita Wurst from Austria who have already angered people in Belorussia and Russia.


But personally I feel even less interested than normal as the Swedish submission is the kind of boring ballad that only small island nations in the Mediterranean can love. But at least it is better than the 31 songs we didn't send...

Is there realy people who cares about this? i think last time i watched Eurovision, was when i was 5 or 7...

In a way its a good thing that Eurovision doesnt realy represents what is good in "European culture".
If it did, it would be so sad.

I also think alot of artists that goes to this show, dont take this serious as well. As they should.

For the record I think the Jeux Sans Frontières ( Games without Frontiers) was much more interesting and entertaining than this.

Thankfully we're not sending another gay vampire. That is good. Sadly Austria thinks we have challenged them to a contest by6 sending that guy last year. That is not good.


I miss the days when Eurovision was a respected competition meant to help new singers break-out rather than a "who pays more" freak-show.

Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece (and their best bud Cyprus), Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Romania are all in cahoots. Then you have the old Eastern Bloc and the Baltic vote for each other and there are so many of them we don't stand a chance.
