Campaigns will work but you will miss out on some features.

Would say 0.9 will come around the same time patch 12 final comes.

We are hoping for a release time of 2 weeks. There is still a bit to be done yet and then some testing/fine tuning.

It seems to be an appropriate place to ask. I think it was said that the auxiliary units will still be recruitable in the current campaign and the Getae are getting an overhaul of course. Does anyone have an insight to which feature might not cross over versions? Something are worth abandoning a campaign for but somethings one can live with and it can't hurt to know if my turn 223 Rome campaign is worth continuing :p

All the new features (new units) will be available in current campaigns (at least as of right now). The only exception to this I can think of is the Roman Auxilia from Pannonia for campaigns pre-0.85 (that AoR tag was introduced in 0.85).

We will be removing some recruitment buildings as they will no longer be necessary, so current campaigns may have some buildings sitting around that are either useless or redundant.

Edit: I also forgot to mention that if we end up adding in the Daco-Thracian culture as its own thing, then campaigns with those factions would need to be restarted.

If you are wanting to use my auxilia in the Rome campaign I would wait till 0.9 as the new Pannonia area is where you will get the 2 roman Cataphract units! Sure you will want to have those guys!

Thank you for your answer. Can I ask my question which I asked many times? Are there any plans beyond 0.9?

After 0.9, there will probably be a 0.95 that will include some faction overhauls that haven't been done yet and some other changes.

1.0 will mainly be a fine tuning of the mod files, removing excess textures and tables, etc. Our actual release of the mod will be 1.0.

We will continue improving the mod and adding content after 1.0, but 1.0 will have most of the mod's core features finished.

May I ask which factions you've still got plans for? I assume work has already started on at least a few, so I would be interested to hear what else is on the agenda, if you don't mind giving a little preview

You mean like, 1.0 and all main features (factions+AOR, etc), which is the end goal since forever?

Beyond 1.0 would be more appropriate, but even then they have stated quite a few times they were going to try more and more and more until there is nothing left to improve.

Concerning the Daco-Thracian cultures, is there a way to help you guys develop them?

We are well aware that Parthia needs some help, so I know that will definitely be one in the future.

Scythia? They are pretty lacking at the moment.
