My Apology to the public, the site, and everyone

It's been hell of a ride.
I have taken the liberty and demoted most of my staff, due to the belief of conspiring to take over the TWC for no more but a power play and race for the badges. You might think of me as an evil imperator, or a Network Admin or a Webmaster of TWC. It's your choice, take your pick.

I do not claim this place as my own. I don't think I ever did. I was put here in charge to keep this site running. After reading a thread about a request to resign, I talked to the site owner. He said, I should stay and I did. I was waiting for him for more dialog, but Ogre is a busy man and this entire circus came at the worst time, since he is trying to update us to the newest forum software. He also indicated to remove politics altogether from staff and related, but I needed more details how far that can go what are the limits.

After his confirmation, there was a new staff re-established (and thank you all who came to help!) and I was waiting for further approval of the site owner regarding the curial status.

Today, I was approached by a few of my demoted staff and after lenghty discussion, I decided to re-establish them to be staff again, since my doubts have been cleared about their intention. I beleive, they are all good men.

I would like to apologize of having this internal affair spilling into the general public and creating a chaos.

I further like to apologize to everyone who felt that the site is in some sort of danger or makes them feel violated in any sort of way.

My biggest apology goes for my demoted staff of course. I will admit, I made a mistake, perhaps being hectic and under pressure, I made the wrong decision by demoting them and above all, publicly humilate them, make them look less worthy than they really are.

I would also like to apologize to Ogre, the site owner, who views this as a giant headache or even a risk of loosing valuable members.

In the light of these events I will continue to discuss of my status on this site, with the reinstated staff and hoping that this time we will come to a solution within peaceful terms and within contained environment, with the least damage to the community.

I wasn't too unhappy about everything. This kind of stuff has happened before and in the end it doesn't matter so much.

I also very humbly accept your apology. I, and the vast majortiy of those who signed the petition did so not for our own gain but for what we believe is best for the site. But we did not go about it in the right way. I hope that discussions in staff will lead to the best outcome for all of us, and for TWc as a whole.

I humbly accept your apology as well. It's my sincere hope that all of us can get this site running better than ever in whatever capacity we can best serve.

As we have discussed I can't in all honesty accept your apology as I have been at least as much to blame for the idiocy of the last few days as you have and as such I don't believe I deserve an apology from you.

Not many of us have come out of this very well, but in my view you have, especially after your actions this evening. It is humbling to work with someone who can do what you have done tonight.

Archer should not the blame for demoting the staff. He asked for my opinion and I told him if you don’t think you can trust them all then I would remove them immediately (including myself). This is so because site security and the archives are the foremost priority above and beyond all other considerations and given all the politics in play at the time and the fact that several none staff knew about what was going on, I felt it was a security risk so I advised him to take such action. This action had no malice towards any individual(s) but was simply a pragmatic decision. If anyone wants to lay blame on anyone for it then it shall be I who should receive it.
