Boondocks - Season 4

I was disappointed by the new episode. It was alright, but it wasn't anything close to the old episodes. I didn't really expect much with both McGruder and Jones gone (no thugnificent ). I hope the next episodes will be better, maybe with more airtime for the main characters it will be better.

Such a shame... Seemed like a good series.

I don't know anything about this show. Please gimme a quick overview Johnny. Is it inspired by that movie boondocks saints or something?

Watched first episode of latest season. Although I didn't think it was bad, it just seemed very slow-paced without and funny plot twists. It seemed quite mediocre to me.

A cartoon show made up of exaggerated African American sterotypes: the urban youth, the revolutionary(Black Panthers/Huey Newton) the uncle tom, the Half white/half AA married to a white woman, the older AA that went through the civil rights era and now thinks the world owes him something because of it.

Have not seen the new season but the older ones had some great episodes, one of my fav. shows, a King of the Hill ish type show for AA.

Meh i dont like tags, least of all on people. I dont think that should be requirement for the enjoyment of a show. If it is, then its a sad thing already.

Well the first episode was pretty bad, the second one I could barely watch, quit after the boring conversations from Huey and Riley. I didn't even take a look at the third one. Such a shame, it was a good show. Maybe McGruder will stop this Black jesus nonsense and come back...

In all honesty I'm enjoying this season so far. It might be the fact that I'm usually half-asleep when I watch them.
