Default What can I do about mod crashes?

So there's this mod I like called Thera (it has it's own forum here but kinda death so I'm asking here). Unfortunately, I always get a crash after I'm very far into my campaign, thus corrupting my save. Now I now you always have to possibility of a crash with any mod, but I love Thera to death and it's always very frustrating to me when it crashes when I'm dedicated to my campaign (it's a fantasy roleplay kinda mod). It crash when a certain faction has its turn or, this is my latest corrupeted save, when a battle just freezes and I have to end the game with task manager. Now I've noticed I haven't been running my game as administrator (win7). Could that possibly bring more stability to my (future) campaigns? Is there anything I can do about a save that won't load (unexpected error thingy)? Or do I just have to accept the fact that I can't play this mod for long campaigns? Thanks for any answers.

"Run as Administrator" does help for me.
Disabling the UAC does help for me.

It sounds more like in mid/late game you're running out of memory for one. Corrupted saves is a clue.

So you're saying that running the game as admin will help in stopping crashes and corrupting my save? That's great!
I'm not too sure what you're saying with running out of memory, anything I can do about that?

XP, 3gb of ram is fine.
Vista, Win 7/8/8.1, 4gb is almost needed.
Turning off/disabling anything not game related while playing also helps.
Trying to play with only a gig of ram is not fun especially mid/late game when it goes through memory in a hurry. When a faction loses its last settlement and go to horde, I've had it use over a gig of ram just for the game.
Having a lot of free harddisc space helps. 9gb is about minimum believe it or not.

win7 64 bit, 6gb ram and 269gb free on my HD. So that's not the problem it seems. I don't mind the mod crashing once in a while and that I have to continue from my last (auto)save. But crashing corrupts my save and that frustrates me greatly. Would running as admin fix any of that? Also, I've installed my game directly on my C drive (dunno why anymore) instead of my program files folder (x86). That might have something to do with it.

Have you checked the mod's log? It may hold a clue for the crash.
I still get crashes every once in a while and 90+% are vanilla, not a mod. Some are just random enough I have yet to nail them.

Here's my logs. The last one is thera.system.log. It's too big to upload here so I put the bottom of the file. I can't really make anything of it. If only it would crash (which is not that frequent btw) withouth corrupting my save.

Also, thank you for helping me, Irishron. Very nice, man.

    Here is the line.
    battle_wait 30
When it comes to battles, I don't know. May want to ask in the Mod Workshop. I don't know if it's fixable.
