the screenshots of vastator show still the annoying old blocky shadows for units. is there no improvement of unit and treeshadows with the RTW GEM shaders?

No, unfortunately. But the real problem is that the mod adds some other bugs that make the campaign almost unplayable.

I think the only way to improve shadows is by increasing their resolution through mem-editing, maybe you can suggest that for this project:

Yes, though it is a much simpler approach now.

    Hi Lucifer.
Great work, as always. I love your work and your contribution to Total War games and community.
However, using GEM in Rome 1 ,as in Mewdieval 2, makes my game unplayable do to fps major drops.
I don't understand, since I'm using it in Rome 2 without any major FPS loss.
I think it's related to game engine and optimisation.
    Any advice?
    Thank you.
P.S. Keep up with your amazing work.

Well, since the beta version has alot of bugs I will revert it to as simple solution just as I wrote. This means you will have no fps drops anymore (currently use a notebook from 2009 so I can test that pretty well )

For M2:TW and the more advance mod you should turn off ExpEffects in the GEM_settings.txt if you have performance problems. With a good build you will not run into problems but on older machines I noticed that it is kind of tough.

So are you dropping the dx9 rendering and the various sweetFX effects?
    It looks quite good BTW

Is this for stock 1.5 or one of the mods?

    Good games.

Hello, one question, the mod works with Alexander Total War expansion? Or there is other version for that?

Thanks for all the GEM mods

filmicpass, filmgrain, adaptivesharpen, fxaa, hdr or bloom....you can try dpx or technicolour instead of filmicpass to get the colour you like.
