Do general's abilities stack?
If you had a 10 star, full chivalry general and a 10 star, full dread general in the same army would you get both of their bonuses, or only the leading commander's?(the one with a gold star on the unit card

Re: Do general's abilities stack?
Command only matters for the leader, dread/chivalry are area of effect, I believe. If areas of effect overlap I am guessing only the leader or maybe the highest is used. So no they don't stack but you can use multiple generals spread across one army to make use of all of their bonuses. Not 100% sure on this, I never actually researched or tested it.
The hero abilities do stack I think, so using two abilities from two generals at roughly the same time is kinda overkill. These are not based solely on area of effect either.

If you don't command the reinforcements I believe your supporting general will use his dread/chivalry. Which means if you have 3 high level dreadlords on one battlefield the enemy will surrender faster than the French.
