There's a Boudicca model somewhere? Will we, finally, see a female General in a Total War game since Medieval 1's Joan of Arc?
The Iceni roster can use some love though, so regardless this'll be pretty nice. My British friend has been bemoaning Iceni's weak unit roster since launch.
I hope rather than player plays as Rome, we now have a choice to choose any of the 4 legions send there, each with their own campaigns to play.

How? There was one major battle that resulted in butchery. It simply wasn't a large scale campaign. This seems to niche if it ends up being true. The full conquest isn't particularly interesting. No great battles, and no particularly interesting characters outside Boudica. It was fought on a small scale. It's CiG without Caesar/relevance.Then lat me simply put it like this: It is an interesting time period and certainly an interesting era to have a game set in.

This would be cool.

Shogun 2, no thanks I will stick with Kingdoms SS.
Yet another dlc campaign with Romans ...
I know it's called ROME total war, but this is getting tedious. Not to mention that unless you're British, all this Boudicais boring.

Especially if in a short time, I'm expecting an unit pack dlc more than a campaign dlc. We've models of female warriors, Amazones and now these briton clues. I would say a barbarian units pack.
Please no more mini-campaigns. It feels like I'm getting served tiny bite sized Napoleon expansions for 15 bucks a pop while the main problems with the game, and developing actual new and interesting content for it is just an afterthought.
I agree with most people here. Boring setting. Why not do conquest of Greece next, then conquest of Spain, then Anatolia, etc...
I think the issue with a Britannia DLC is the fact that it has such a limited setting anyway. Maybe a Greece DLC would be neat, but when CA focuses on one culture with the kind of gloss they've treated all the in-game cultures, then you just get a setting where you're slogging through the same type of foe over, and over, and over again.
Exactly, it just lacks substance.
I want to see something different now.... something other than Celts, or Celt-Iberians and Romans. Go east!!!
It's like "Hey CA, CiG was okish. Why not do something other from that time period, you know, one of the oh so many conflicts between those sometimes oh so diverse and interesting cultures from that time?"
And CA goes like "Oh yeah, here, more Celts! These ones are blue!"

Sure mate, but if they don't start doing other stuff after this DLC, and I mean like totally different stuff, then I have a feeling a lot of people from the global audience are going to feel insulted and I'm not sure that's such a good thing.
BTW, aren't you guys actually germanic?![]()
If they want to stick to Celts and Romans, then I want to see King Arthur nextThey can borrow the story from Jack Whyte's Camulod Chronicles or Cornwell's Warlord series.
