On the subject of the invasion of Britain, how many thousands of books have been written about Roman Britain? It's a popular topic and it makes sense to take advantage of it. It will be challenging too; the Romans very nearly got driven back into the sea by the Iceni-led revolt.

There are more documentaries and books in existence about Roman Britain than Roman Italy. It's just one of those things where the people who hold money/power in the world get to write and shape our view of history. Britannia was historically one of the least Romanized/significant provinces in the Roman Empire, but you'd never know that by watching English language television. I seriously watched a documentary the other day about how St. Augustine "Romanized" Dark Age Ireland and it lead to a flowering of civilization that eventually re-Romanized Anglo-Saxon Britain.

What can I say, until a French, Italian, Romanian, or Egyptian development company comes around and makes a Roman era strategy game, you get what you get
