If they make this as good as Brittania campaign for M2TW, this would be interesting, I feel diplomacy will play a vital role in survival on this expansion

Why do we all assume it's Boudicca's rebellion? Conquest of Britannia seems to suggest that it's actually Claudius's conquest.

I could understand a Historical Battle in Britain but a DLC? That's a real stretch for enough content to make it something interesting for very long.

Written by Simon Scarrow? With Macro and Cato featuring in it? Yay!
"Pompeius, after having finished the war against Mithridates, when he went to call at the house of Poseidonios, the famous teacher of philosophy, forbade the lictor to knock at the door, as was the usual custom, and he, to whom both the eastern and the western world had yielded submission, ordered the fasces to be lowered before the door of science."

I didnt exactly understand the reasoning behind the HatG dlc and yet that turned out to be quite an enjoyable campaign, why dont you just all give this a chance before making up your mind?

ALSO if I were CA I would troll the hell out of the community, giving my upcoming DLC misleading titles...if i was going to release a conquest of britain style DLC i'd have called the file the conquests of alexander or something

I'll give it a chance. Features, features, features are the key. Also Claudius' PR would be better as they'd be more Romanized and organized. The first Imperial DLC if I'm not mistaken.

Perhaps, because it's very similar to the Sarmatian ones that already exist. Something about it screams 'Brythonic.' though. The La Tene, I guess.

Either some elite cav or maybe even for some new chariot.

I am really interested in seeing what will happen to all the factions on the Island. Which other Britanic factions will be made playable? How will they differ from each other?

So far I believe that the Dumnonii, Caledones and Brigantes will be made playable for the small campain and the grand campain. I hope that each of these factions will have their unit roster reworked and that we will see 1-2 individual units for each one of these factions. How could their units differ from each other? When playing as the Iceni I had the feeling that their unit roster was pritty good already and I couldnt think of much to add. The only thing at which the Britanic tribes lack so far is skirmishers, so maybe we will see the addition of some skirmisher cav or Britanic archers. Screaching Women are almoust certain to be added, but other than that??? The only other thing I could think of are Gaul refugees. Shock cav simply doesnt fit into a Celtic faction in my opinion and their melee cav is pritty good already. Someone from the UK probably has a better idea of what kind of units can be added. I do hope however that CA will not add a new individual culture for the Britanic tribes.

Agreed, the existing British roster isn't too bad, though I'd like to see Painted Spears and Painted Cavalry. Though I'm British, I'm no expert. My wishlist, however, would include one or two more skirmishers and some sort of elite two-handed swordsman. In addition, I want the Picts to be introduced - big hairy naked bastards, very low tech but vicious as hell; they should make the Painted Ones look downright effeminate.

Just a heads up, word on the official forums is that the file list was a forgery, and it's now no longer showing.

    I hate such people.

Oh good, I was quite disheartened at the prospect of CA trying to sell me more cookie cutter celts. Maybe when CA announces the real new DLC I might actually consider buying it.

I'm surprised no one is talking about a Cleopatra dlc--she has her own Rome 2 trailer and loading screen. I figure that'll be next.
