Default how to open the rigid_model_v2 in...

hey guys, is it possible to open the rigid_model_v2 files in Blender? I want to repaint and texture it in the 3d program and then put back into the game so is this possible?, I have seen the UU3D thread and it says there are other programs to use, or even convert to CS2 file format. if someone can answer this in a sort of easy way for me to follow that would be appreciated. so how can I open the R_M_V2 in blender, what file format do I save it and how do I get it to be able to be used in game thanks guys

Using UU3D with its ETW plugin you can open and export rigid_model_v2 to .dae file format.
Doing so, you will be able to modify models.
But, to export .dae to .rigid_model_v2 you will have to use 3ds max exporter provided by CA.
This means to export .dae model to .fbx and then open it with 3ds max.

    CS2 exporter work with 3ds max 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013 if I remember.
You will have to respect models structure in 3ds max (eg. layers and naming objects) before exporting it as .CS2.

Finally, you will have to run BoB to processs the CS2 file and create a .pack containing TW 3d model file format (rigid_model_v2).

well looks like I will just be retexturing in gimp because I cant afford nor get my hands on those programs for free, (im not a student) so people don't mention that if your a student you get to use 3ds for free lol, some textures are coming up quite nicely anyway, that's a shame it would of been nice to retexture in blender so I can see it as it goes instead of loading the game everytime, thanks wangrin
