The man murdered three people. I'm not 'making' it a controversy, it is one. This has nothing to do with Russian SOF. It has to do with the vetting process people going into that line of work go through. Honestly, I'm surprised this man A) Didn't do this earlier and B) Didn't kill more people. This could have been much worse.

And that somebody REALLY screwed up thirty years ago when this guy was busted purchasing stolen explosives and anti-tank weapons and recruiting active duty personnel into a paramilitary organization and was let go. There seems to be a disturbing lack of accountability here. Most intelligent people would be concerned.
