    Default The Grand Strategist

I hope no one has made a topic on this yet for I haven't seen it. Any way i made this for thoes who keep playing the demo just to get better and see how well you could do. I only made this because for some reason I did very well in the last battle I had. I was the English faceing off a aginst the frensh of corce. and for the heck of it I turn down the settings so it would run smooth. And to my surpize some how it affected gameplay, because the longbow men did more damage in this battle then they ever did befor. they halted one of the cav chrages (the one that comes form the left) and severly damaged the right one. killed several dismounted Knights, and killed one of the generals when they hit me from the rear. I ended up haveing 725 men at th end of the battle when I usealy only have around 500-550. It was the best I ever did, what was the best you ever did.

the best i had till know was about 750 men left
when the first infantry wave is coming i am charging with my infantry and beating them back then i take my archers to the right side all at one place, the second and third infantry troops are fought back by my knights, when someone attacks my archers they handle them themselves - they are pretty good in melee and of course the mass of them.
Then quicky fighting back the chivalric knights and all the enemies are fleeing.
My problem is the battle ends very quickly and i cant' pursue the enemies, so it's often only an average victory but i have about 750 men left and would kill them all if i was able to continue battle.
