    Default Battle CTD

Ever since I modded a new unit into stainless steel 6.4, I've been having crash issues with battles and custom battles. Even if the unit is not involved in the battle itself, it still crashes. The only error I get is 'unspecified error' in the crash log.

Any ideas? Could hardware be the problem?

    what exactly did you alter/add?
does reverting the changes stops the CTDs?

there is a limit of 500 unit types in the EDU which is already reached by the mod (ss6.4 bugfix compilation removes 1 dupicate though), if you added a unit on top of the 500, then is probably the cause of the CTDs.

Im not past the EDU limit, the file I edit was descr, but I removed a uni. The unit I had added was stable and suddenly started becoming less stable.

Lol dude you have to give detailed info of the problem as well as what exactly you modified...otherwise I won't be able to help you.

descr is the starting name of several files, which of those was?

Ok you removed a unit, which one? and again comes handy to know from which file.

lots of these .txt files are referenced by others, so removing something from one might make another file call for something that no longer exists thus causing the crash.

And again, does reverting these changes you did, ei restoring SS6.4 to its original form, solves the CTD?

TIP: Keeping backups of the original files is always handy when modding in case you screw up, avoiding the need of reinstall.

Its the descr for units. Before, the units would work in battles but only if their was one. I have not tested vanilla 6.4..tho nothing seems wrong with the code. Sorry for earlier. I was exhausted.
