    Default vbulletin

    Hi Guys,

Does anyone here have any experience setting up a site that uses vbulletin for forums?
The reason I ask, is that at work we are looking at ways of improving corporate communication, and I figured integrating a message board onto our intranet site would be a good idea. I have a couple of questions though..

First of all, how easy is it to integrate transparent user accounts? ie can I use the same accounts that I use for the site as a login for the messageboard?

How harsh is vbulletin on the hardware? I am looking in the 100-200 users range, and will not be able to have a separate dbase server.

How is the basic support for the softaware?

Are there issues that really bug you guys about the software?

I have seen vbulliten as the ideal candidate, but was if there is something that you think is better I would like to hear about it.

The absolutely best forum software is IBP. But it's quite expensive, like 70$ for a one year-license.
A good free choice is PhpBB. But it lacks quite a lot of features. They can be added with mods, but it is very hard.
