Trouble with kingdoms

My pc broke and had to be reset, now I can't install the kingdoms expansion as in I click it and nothing happens like the pc doesn't register that its there. The main game installed fine, but I'm having real problems with this, I've tried shutting down and restarting the pc and neither have worked. Can anybody help me with this?

u cant install kingdoms? maybe it's not completely uninstalled so installer wont work

go to control panel and check the program list by clicking 'uninstall a program' underneath 'programs'
if its there, uninstall all of the kingdoms expansions (britannia/crusades/americas/teutonic) and then u should be able to reinstall them
if it isn't there go to ur m2tw folder and check the 'mods' folder, if the kingdom expansions are there delete them then retry the installer

turns out I installed the main game in the wrong folder
