This is just copy pasted from where I had it.

So I unpacked the .pack files the game seems to run better, however, after the other factions end taking their turns, that usually small time window from the last faction into giving you control of the game has gotten considerably bigger, I assume because of the seasons. Anyway, is there anyway to fix this? Seeing as it is counter intuitive that I'm getting this issue...

They get longer every turn.
Seasons shouldn't cause this.
The longer you play a game without saving and exiting, the longer the turns take.
I start over every 1 hour or so.
Use cloud effects for a quick fix.
Customize visual settings.
And add Radious Graphics mod to remove all the particle and dust effects in battle.
