FoTS clan to start playing

Hi all

I have played most of the factions on Shogun 2 vanilla. I never tried any mods. I bought Fall of the Samurai but never got around playing it. Then Rome 2 came out and I moved over to it. Now I want to try Fall of the Samurai. The thing is, I have no clue which clan to play with. Any suggestions will be welcome. Also any mod recommendations will be extremely helpful.

I started as Imperial and Satsuma or Tosa. First two clans I played.
Probably the easiest too, seeing as they are on islands.

Yeah they're a good introduction. I'd definitely invest in NOIF's recolor and re-uniform MOD, makes the FOTS campaign a lot more satisfying.

If you already played most factions The Sengoku Campaign of S2TW, you know the drill: Start easy with fringe domains, then inch forwards to the center, until you play the Center-most Domains where the fun and action start from the start...

For FoTS, I personally used Heavily customized RSM basis. Most overhauls already includes Bayonet mod.

Wow. That's a lot of mods. I will give it a try. The last time I tried playing mods, the game refused to load at all. I am using the steam version of the mod manager that comes with steam. Is there any other mod manager that is better for S2TW mods?

I have a large mode for fots, I recomend it if you like longer and tactical battles .. The campaing is harder, so if you domain fots then play it XD
