    Default Cheap best buy pc

How will this PC do for MTW2? Minus perhaps the graphics card. I looked it up on bestbuy.com and I'm surprised it's so cheap.

probably was a defective model and you might find the hardware unsupported, i did when i cheaped out on a pc. Lots of bsods and it wasnt the right size so the ribbon cable for the new graphics card i got didnt extend long enough and i couldnt properly hook everything up.

This is a model advertised by the Best Buy website. They sell these things in bulk presumably. I doubt they would produce defective models to be sold. Would they...

Whoa. 6150LE sounds like turd. I'd be hardpressed to find benchmarks for it, but if it's worse than a 6200, then I'd steer clear. Probably uses turbo cache, doesn't even have its own GDDR memory modules.

Personally, I don't think its worth it. It doesn't even tell you what kind of 64 AMD you'll get, and the 2 gb of ram might be DDR, DDR2 or DRR3 (is that even out yet?). And, as said before, it is probably full of bugs and stuff.

Yea, I'd stay clear of prebuilt PCs from anywhere like Dell, Best Buy, Staples, etc.

    Here's what else it says:

AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 dual-core processor 4600+* for increased multitasking performance; improved security with Enhanced Virus Protection**; Cool'n'Quiet™ Technology to minimize heat and noise
    2GB PC2-4200 DDR2 SDRAM for multitasking power

It seems like a good deal minus the video card. Almost too good... What kind of bugs can a brand name HP computer advertised by a huge superstore like Best Buy have.

Wingman, go to newegg.com and find parts to build your own computer. It's much better and more reliable, plus you know what you're computer has and does not have so it is easier to upgrade later on.

Or if you want, buy that computer but get a better video card for it.

I don't feel secure buying online and assembling it myself as I have no experience and minimal knowledge about such things. I want somebody to yell at when something goes wrong for a reason that I don't understand... warranties are nice.

Then like I said, buy one, but if you do buy this one, then make sure it is PCI-EXPRESS x16 compatable. Otherwise it's crap. Also if you do get this, once again, buy another video card for it.

Cheap? Not really, if you build one for the same price it would smoke that pre-built computer.

If you are really not into building, buy it from Dell or some other online retailers. They are usually a lot cheaper than the ones in stores, and some of them actually comes with good graphics cards.
