    Default The Medieval 2 Total War demo screenshot thread.

    I thought it would be a good idea if we all posted our screenshots form the demo in one thread. Also we could say what video setting we are using along with our system specs. This will give others nice screen shots and the kind of performance and quality people can expect from their computers. I will start it off. Here are screenshots from the historical battle Azincourt.



    I toook my screenshots using the highest settings with a 1280x1024 resolution and it lagged really bad. Frames didnt go above 10 per second during combat. When I turned it to medium settings it ran great and didnt go below 40 frames per second. My screenshots look a little weird. I think its because I was using fraps or something.

    My System Specs
    AMD 3200+ OC to 2.4ghz
    1 gig 3200 ram
    320 gig 7200 rpm hard drive
    Nvidia Geforce 7800 GT video card

    Simply amazing. The UI looks strange but thats ok. The graphics are unbelievalbly great. I cant wait to get the demo!

    It is fun that all units before going into battle take a good shower of kerosen (high flammable petrol) becouse like in this screen, the only thing you see is the halberd of the man in fire afther being hit by a fire arrow.




    Still fun though.

    That is a rare ritual........myabe the pikemen were going for an all or nothing deal in the battle and said, "Either you dodge the arrows or you will light up like one bad Mother ******" :hmmm:

    it's everything on high except the stuff that needs shader version 2 and shadows. I get about 20-30 fps.

    Looks amazing.. I'll get to play it soon. But it's just a demo, no reason to get too excited.
    One question: Do you know how to disable those green triangles? In text file maybe?

    Spartacus(FIN), in R:TW the option to turn the triangles off was in the preferences.txt file, but I don't know if you have access to that file in the demo yet. Hell, I don't even know if that file will exist at all.
